Welcome to the David Herrington State Farm Insurance agency! We proudly serve Fayetteville, Dewitt, Fayetteville-Manlius, Manlius, Jamesville, East Syracuse, Chittenango, Syracuse, and all of Onondaga County. I’ve spent over 20 years in the insurance and financial services world, and helping protect my hometown community is what truly drives me every day.

I was raised right here in the Dewitt and Fayetteville-Manlius area, and returning to serve the place that shaped me has been incredibly meaningful. My entire family has deep roots in local education, with generations of teachers in the East Syracuse-Minoa, Dewitt, and Fayetteville-Manlius school districts. Those connections have given me a strong appreciation for hard work, integrity, and looking out for one another—values I bring into my work with every customer.

June is a wonderful time of year with graduations, weddings, summer celebrations, and the return of warmer weather. It’s a season filled with milestones and moments worth enjoying with family and friends. My kids are all grown and college graduates, and these days our golden retrievers are our newest “kids.” When I’m not in the office, I enjoy fishing, cooking, gardening, attending Syracuse University sporting events, and soaking up everything our local Syracuse festivals and community events have to offer. 🍊🎉

Community involvement has always been a big part of my life. I coached Little League for 14 years and continue to stay involved in fundraising and youth athletic programs. Giving back isn’t a side project for me—it’s part of who I am and how I believe a local business should show up for its neighbors.
